2016 SUMMER ART SHOW July 9, 10

Featured artist, Panamanian visual artist, Gabriela Handal sends us her awe inspiring charcoal, pencil, ink and acrylic sketches. Thought provoking and contemporary, her talents are unlimited. Traditional portrait works may be commissioned from Gabriela Handal, one of the most talented and collectible young New York artists.

Our guest artists include three who have shown at The Art Barn previously and are back by popular demand. Christopher Bissett creates amazing sculptures from salvaged metal, Daniel York makes seaglass suncatchers from seaglass he collects along the shores of Phippsburg, Maine, Valerie Clark paints brilliant watercolors of local Maine scenes. New guests are Sylvia Leuteman who paints beautiful watercolor and pastel landscapes, and Martha Silver, a watercolor artist with a focus on local wildlife and seascapes. I will be showing my own new paintings and creations of seaglass, driftwood, stone, fiber, seashells, collage work and more.

The Art Barn

The Art Barn is located off Rt. 209 in Phippsburg, Maine a half a mile south of the school and fire department on the Sam Day Hill Road. There you will find sprawling green hills, a pond, ancient apple trees and a big old barn full of wonderful one of a kind creations by 10th generation Phippsburg, Maine native, Andrea Brand and others. Bring the dog, the kids, bare feet, your friends and your mom. The Barn is open summer weekends from 10-4, for special shows, and by appointment. Call 207-319-9922.
