Today's picture is a painting I am working on this morning. It's hard to get the colors on the computer to match the painting but this is close. This is a 16x20 acrylic on canvas board that I started about a month ago. I will be adding a dark wash over the water, a lobster boat moored offshore, and some flowers in the foreground. This is off the tip of West Point, Maine just between the wharf and my grandfather's old house on Wallace Circle.
Worked at Spinney's last night down at Popham Beach and had a blast, as usual. I still find it hard to believe that we all like working there so much but it's like one big family. Work hard, play hard. Love it.
Beautiful sunny day so I'm going for a bike ride before work. Maybe I'll lay out on the deck and soak up a little sun, too. More later.
