Yes, friends it's time to pick the Wild Maine Blueberries. I scoped out one of my favorite picking spots yesterday and got a half a cup. Looks like it's going to be a bumper crop this year. Sold some at Spinney's last year in these cute little boxes I designed and put together and they went as fast as I could bring them in. Hoping I'll find enough again this year to share.
Plans for my first ever art show and sale Saturday and Sunday, July 31 and August 1, 2010 in Phippsburg, Maine are coming along nicely. Have several artists who would also like to show and lots of buzz around town about the upcoming event. Need to get confirmations from a few other artists then posters are going up.
Going up to work on renovations at the barn this morning, do a little blueberry picking, run some errands, then work at Spinney's this afternoon and evening. Hope we are as busy as we were last night. More later.
