Here are some more of my paintings scattered around my room. The orange painting in the lower left is a sunrise over the mill dam at Parker Head. I ran over there super early one morning to get a photo of this from which I painted it later. The lighthouse to the right is Pemaquid. There's a pink sunset at Cat Cove, West Point, Maine above it, a brand new abstract flowers painting above that, and some paintings of Malaga Island, Maine above the windows.
I've been painting more today even though I told myself I had to stop and start getting things ready to go south for the winter. I painted a super close up of a wave and another super swirly abstract of sea creatures. I'm still waiting for my small 4x4 canvases and my white watercolor.
I'm still right into the Stephen King book Under the Dome. I figure I'm about halfway through it and finally caught up with my son who's listening to it at the same time but separately. Fun to have someone else to listen with so you can compare notes.
Smoke free now for like five weeks or so. Still miss it. Still crave a little, but know it's so much better for me. Can't believe it's been as easy as it has. I have gained some weight but I figured I would. I'll take that right back off in no time. More later.
