So, for the longest time I have wanted to recycle my used up old ink cartridges. Initially I thought I'd wear gloves and swipe them over paper or something. Then I decided I would try filling the cartridges up with water then drip the ink onto the paper and see what happened. OMG I'm pretty excited about it because I think they could be used similar to watercolors and turn out some fairly fantastic art. These are just an idea of what effects can be had with just one medium sized brush, water, and an old dried up ink cartridge and a few minutes time. The colors are much more vibrant than I expected and I only tried blue, green, and black so far. Can't wait to get set up with all the colors and see what I can do with a little time, effort, and natural sunlight.

Not much going on at our house today. The guys didn't go lobster fishing because it's very windy out. I've been looking at rentals in Florida for the winter and also at the prices for flights to Costa Rica. Would love to go to Costa first then Florida but not sure we'll be able to afford that this year. The flights are more than I thought they were going to be, especially around the holidays. I sure hope it's warmer this year in Florida than last year. More later.
