Today's picture is a painting I made last Thursday of the Squirrel Point Lighthouse in Arrowsic, Maine. It is visible from the Phippsburg Center and this image was painted from a photograph I took earlier this summer. This one is a 12x16 acrylic on canvas board that I sketched out a bit beforeI started.
Went shopping today and found some more picture frames like I was looking for. I think it may have been smart to beat the crowds as I know this weekend is going to be crazy.
My lobster fishermen have been home quite a bit lately. Nice to be able to spend time with my son who will be moving to Brooklyn and hanging out in NYC soon. I'm going to miss him so much. More later.
