Well, the barn is cleaned up and my art is hanging. Now to add the works of the other five participating artists and we'll be ready to roll for the Phippsburg Art Show & Sale this coming Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the Sam Day Hill Road just off either Route 209 or Parker Head Road in Phippsburg, Maine. It was a lot of work but I think it will be so worth it!
Puffy's new baby kitten is doing fine. It is a boy and we haven't named him yet but he is strong and healthy and growing like a weed. It's funny that Puffy's last kitten (Blackie) who is now 7 months old is scared to death of the kitten! I was afraid she'd try to eat him but she runs and hides whenever she sees him. I don't think she knows just what to make of him. Hoping they'll play together when the kitty gets a little bigger. Blackie still has a lot of kitty left in her, too!
Worked at Spinney's last night down on Popham Beach and we were packed! I was pretty tired as I'd been up since 4:00 and had worked at the barn for six hours before doing my 8 hour shift waitressing. This burning the candle at both ends is wearing me down but I love getting things done.
Another gorgeous day in paradise. The sun is shining and it's warm and pretty outside. I'm going back up to the barn to work on some last minute details and to photograph some of the art which I didn't get pictures of before. I'm offering some of my work in limited edition, signed copies (runs of only 22) and want to be sure I have some good photos to print from.
Well, time to get going and see what the day brings. Back to Spinney's tonight again. Hope we're busy. Have a wonderful day,friends. More later.
