Malaga Island, Maine Sweet Sunset

Malaga Island%2C Maine Sweet Sunsete Here we have an untouched photo I took of the sunset last night over Malaga Island, Maine. I absolutely love the way the pine trees are reflecting in the water of the rivermouth. I definately have to paint this. I don't think I will ever tire of painting this island. Time stands still here on this rocky coast of  Maine.

The captain is going to help me with the barn. I need some windows replaced and a few other cosmetics. I'll be the one to paint the entire side he's working on when he's done but that's alright as I want to use the barn itself for advertising my first ever art show July 31 and August 1, 2010. It's a big, big, old barn and in a spanky location just a half mile off either Route 209 or the Parker Head Road, both on the way to Popham Beach in Phippsburg, Maine.

The weather is typically spring with chilly mornings and sun today which I am grateful for. I feel like painting but I'd better get some breakfast on and feed my help before he changes his mind :) More later.
