Today was another beautiful, warm, sunny day in Maine. Hard to believe it's November with this kind of weather but I'm sure the cold will come soon enough.
Today's picture is a photograph I took a few years back of a typical sunset from the deck in Sebasco. That's the southern tip of Malaga Island to the right and Cundy's Island and Harpswell to the left. We get some spectacular sunsets here, especially during the late fall and winter months.
Hopefully I won't be here during the winter months to see them this year, though. Frank's already talking about hauling up the traps and heading south by the first of December. He's moved it up two weeks from the last time we spoke. If it turns cold he'll want to go tomorrow!
I'm not quite ready but could be fairly soon. Don't want to rush things, though, as it's the last time we'll have Zack living with us (unless we're lucky enough to have him and Anna here next summer) and I want to enjoy it for as long as I can before I lose him to Anna and NYC for good.
These guys are hungry. Need to go make some dinner. More later.
