Today's picture is what I am using for the DVD case for my art submission to the Maine Arts Commission. I am applying for their Maine Individual Artist Fellowship Grant again this year for $13,000. Wish me luck!
I've been so busy lately trying to get everything caught up before I start working down at Spinney's full time. I have five paintings to finish and a few more that I need to make prints from and frame. I've got lots of them all packaged up and ready to hang for my art show that I've decided I'm having in August at our Barn on the Sam Day Hill Road in Phippsburg. I'll be selling original works of art and prints and hopefully will have a few other local artists joining me as several have expressed an interest.
Puffy and her kitten, Blackie, are doing fine. They love these warm, sunny days and spend them sunbathing and chasing each other around the little golf course we have in our dooryard. Now Frank's talking about maybe letting the baby have a litter of her own and keep the line going. We'll see. I'm not sure about that. Had an awful hard time giving up the last two we didn't keep. I'll want them all!
Working tomorrow night and Sunday night down at Spinney's on Popham Beach. So glad to be back on night shift and so happy to be working with all the regulars who came back this year.
Tired. More later.
