Today's picture is my Captain coming home tonight. He is just off the southern tip of Malaga Island, Maine at the mouth of the New Meadows River. The sunset is as pretty as it was a few nights ago.
I painted all afternoon. Big gobs of oils on big framed canvases. I finished off one painting and completely created two others. I work rather fast. These took about four hours. The texture is going to be insane when they dry. Thick curls of waves, trees, grass, rocks, and clouds. I'll be photographing them soon. Hopefully selling them as well. Although, I do miss all of the paintings I've sold and suspect I'll always feel that way. A few I won't even sell for any price as long as I never have to.
Going to cook dinner for my fisherman now. More later.
