My son, http://www.zackbrand.com designed this new logo for my business card and website. It is his interpretation of a graphic illustration of mine of Seguin Lighthouse where the Kennebec River meets Casco Bay, Maine.
I am now working on the design in the photo above for my business cards. I would like to know if the handwritten part is immediately recognizable. If you could comment or send me some feedback on twitter or in my email it would be greatly appreciated.
Spinney's Restaurant down at Popham Beach has had the original design of the lighthouse on their menus for the past three years. I'm hoping this will lend some familiarity to it when people see it, even if they don't realize it.
Also working on holiday cards using a rather unusual theme this year. When I get done with those I'll post a picture.
And, I'm trying to crochet socks. They take a wicked long time to do. It's almost like a double layer the way they are done so it takes twice as long. I want to give them to my mom if I ever get finished. Working on them a little in the evenings now that Spinney's has closed for the season.
Down to the kitchen to make something yummy for my Maine lobster fishermen now. They came back home this morning after attempting to go out fishing. When they got around the corner and down south of the rivermouth aways they found the wind was screeching off Small Point. I'm glad they came back. More later.
