Just love this beach umbrella I saw from the deck of Spinney's Restaurant, Popham Beach in Maine where I work. Had to grab my camera and get a picture of it. Also, now I must have one or two for my deck :)
Things are coming along nicely for my first ever Art Show and Sale this weekend at the old barn I'm restoring on the Sam Day Hill Road in Phippsburg. It's just 1/2 mile off either Rt. 209 or Parker Head Rd. headed down the Phippsburg peninsula on the way to Popham. Stop by if you're in the area. There will be five other local artists selling their art in addition to me. We have hand carved decoys, stained glass art, fiber art, seaglass and sterling jewelry, seaglass sculptures, photography and more.
Three potential buyers interested in Spinney's Restaurant and Guest Cottages now. When it rains it pours. Meeting today with one, another in eight days. A third is asking for more photos. Sure hope we find someone who will love the place and cherish it as much as the locals do. It is, after all, a treasured gem of a place.
