Here is the view from our dock. I spliced a few photos together for a reference for a painting I want to create. I painted a similar scene but with much less foreground detail and positioned farther to the left on a long piece of driftwood. That one sold recently at my first ever Phippsburg Art Show and Sale at my new Barn Gallery in Maine. I'm going to paint this one on driftwood, too.
Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon working on a website. Finished it up late last night so was up too late to talk with my twitter regulars. Love the networking and support of all my twitter friends. My followers are growing rapidly and I find it very rewarding to surround my self with so many positive and inspirational people.
Don't want to spend all my time on the computer as I want to be up at the barn painting art, so I decided to give up the myspace account and one of my facebook pages. The entire facebook account will likely have to go soon but I sure hope some of my 449 followers will continue following via twitter and my blog here at andreabrand.com as it would be a shame to lose contact with so many potential friends and mentors.
Well, today the Captain and I both are at home. He's working a little on the boat and I'm working a little around the house. Probably should cook him a nice big breakfast as he was so quiet this morning while I slept. Have a safe and wonderful day, friends. More later.
