Today's picture is my graphic art work that I completed last week. It is from a photograph I took late last summer from a place where there is a no parking sign along the Popham Road in Phippsburg, Maine. I don't know why there is a no parking sign. There should be a vantage point to pull over all along there where people can take pictures. The views are some of the most spectacular in the entire Phippsburg peninsula.
Popham Beach is taking a pounding from this latest storm but I just saw a friend's pictures posted on facebook and it looks as though it's not too bad down near Fort Popham. That's where Spinney's Restaurant (where I work) is located. Sure hope that doesn't wash out as I'm not ready to quit my day job just yet to paint full time.
The kittens are all doing fantastic. I am keeping them all :) and they have been spending more and more time outside climbing trees, chasing anything that moves and bathing in what little sunshine we've had in north Florida.
I am getting anxious to paint larger and larger works of art. The biggest canvases I've bought this winter are 12x16 and these seem even a bit small to me now. If it weren't so cold and snowy in Maine I'd go back early just so I could paint the giant canvases I have awaiting me there. Have a few paintings I need to finish up and want to work on another abstract starting tomorrow, too.
Nothing much happening lately. Quiet and peaceful on the island. Don't miss the traffic or much of anything else except Zack and Anna. I keep up with them on Anna's twitter account so that's cool, too. More later.
